RECALL OF SALAD KITS ISSUES BY DOLE FOR POSSIBLE LISTERIA CONCERNS
Dole Fresh Vegetables, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall for several branded and private-label salad kits over possible listeria concerns.
The salad kits were produced on the same line as a cheese that has been recalled by the manufacturer, Rizo-Lopez Foods, for the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes.
Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
A listing of products in this recall includes Dole, President’s Choice, and Marketside brands with select lot numbers. This list can be seen by copying and pasting the following link:

Consumers who still have any of these products in their refrigerators or freezers should not eat the food and should throw them away immediately.
No other Dole products are part of these voluntary recalls.
