The public is invited to hear about the 13th District Recovery and Veterans Courts from an extraordinary panel of speakers. Judge Gary McKenzie, District Attorney General Bryant Dunaway, Public Defender Craig Fickler and Director Julie Chambers will speak Tuesday, June 4, at 6 p.m. at the Cumberland County Community Complex, 1398 Livingston Road in Crossville. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Recovery Courts have been effective in helping those with drug, alcohol and minor co-occurring mental health issues so they can become contributing members of society. The team instills lasting behavioral changes through intensive supervision, treatment and education that reduce recidivism and create safer communities. Come and hear more about this outstanding work.
