Rhea County, TN-  Starting at 7 am on Wednesday, November 16, portions of Smyrna Rd will be closed to the general public with no thru traffic.

Smyrna Rd will be down to 1 lane of traffic from Highway 27 to the Landfill, with residential use only.

The only traffic that will be permitted on the 1 lane portion of Smyrna Rd will be local residents to and from their homes. All other traffic will be rerouted to the 302 sides of Smyrna Rd, or alternate routes.

When the road work is complete from Highway 27 to the Landfill, work will begin on the other half of Smyrna Rd. We will update all information relayed to us regarding timelines from Rhea County Highway Department.
