Two road work projects began in Roane County today. On Interstate 40 Westbound at Mile Marker 351.8, the right lane of two lanes and the right shoulder will be blocked due to scheduled maintenance.

Similarly, on State Route 1 Eastbound at A155 Gray Knob Road, the right lane of two lanes and the right shoulder will also be blocked for planned road work. Both projects will likely impact traffic in the respective directions.
