Robert David Scalf, age 87, of Kingston, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019. Survivors include his children: Robert Neil Scalf (Susan) of Kingston, Teresa Dawn Pitts of McMinnville, Lynda Thornburg (Ed) of Kingston, and Martin Lee Scalf of Kingston; grandchildren: David & Macky Collette of McMinnville, Jeff Byrge of McMinnville, and Derek Bowdoin of McMinnville; 7 great-grandchildren; very special friend: Betty Wright of Kingston; and a host of extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Roane Medical Center for all their special care and attention during Robert’s last hospital stay. A private graveside service will be held at Kingston Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
