Thursday morning, Rockwood Fire and  First Responders were sent to the 600 block of Tennessee Avenue to where a woman was having a baby. An ambulance arrived shortly after. The First Responders were on the scene and the baby was delivered with the assistance of the Fire Department personnel and took the newborn to the Roane Medical Center.

The mom and baby are doing fine.
