ROCKY TOP MAN AND TWO JUVENILES FACE MULTIPLE CHARGES AFTER THROWING ROCKS ON I-75

Over the weekend of December 19-21, 2025, the Rocky Top Police Department investigated a series of incidents of someone throwing rocks at vehicles traveling on I-75. Several vehicles were damaged and motorists placed in danger. As a result of the investigation, an adult and two juveniles have been charged.
Isaiah Bell, 24, of Rocky Top, has been jailed for four counts of aggravated assault, four counts of vandalism, three counts of reckless endangerment, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and criminal conspiracy.
The juveniles have been charged with vandalism, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and conspiracy offenses.
Chief John Thomas would like to share his appreciation for the officers’ thoroughness and determination in stopping this threat to citizens traveling through the jurisdiction.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty through court proceedings.
