Rosemary F. Townsend, age 78, of Kingston, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020. Rosemary retired after 22 years as cafeteria manager at Midtown Elementary School. Survivors include children: Tammy McCuiston (Jamie) of Kingston, Mark Townsend (Cheryl) of Hixson, and ​​​Leslie Simpson of Kingston; sisters​​​: Anne DeBord of Harriman and Jeri Slatton (Greg) of Tellico Village; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law​​: Vada West (Jim) of Lenoir City; brother-in-law​: Joel Townsend (Polly) of Kingston; and a host of extended family and special friends. Graveside service will be held at 3 p.n., Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Kingston Memorial Gardens.
