Ruth Ann Walker, age 77, of Kingston, passed away September 24, 2020. She was an active member of Luminary United Methodist Church for over 35 years, working in various capacities in the church including being a part of the Barnabas Ministry, the church Sewing Circle, and part of the Relay for Life. She also served as the Day Program Coordinator for the Ridgeview Mental Health Facility in Harriman. Survivors include her husband of 53 years: Wyndham John “Yank’ Walker of Kingston; son & daughter-in-law: Bryan & Kim Walker of Kingston; son: Todd Wyndham Walker of Kingston; grandsons: Bailey Walker, Riley Walker, and Colby Walker; sisters: Nellie McMann of New Boston, Michigan and Reatha Hartsuff of South Gate, Michigan; sisters-in-law: Ethel Decker of Woodhaven, Michigan and Stella Walker of Riverview, Michigan; and many other special relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 5 until 7  p.m. at the Luminary United Methodist Church; 3401 River Road, Ten Mile, TN 37880. Funeral services will follow. The CDC Covid-19 recommendations of face coverings and social distancing will be followed. Private family interment will be held at a later date.
