The Anderson County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a male caller contacting people stating he was Lt. Terry Allen with the Sheriff’s Office. The caller would ask to speak to specific people regarding legal issues, asking them to call him at his non-emergency number. The Anderson County Sheriff’s office will never call anyone asking to settle any legal or fine-related matters over the phone.
