SEARCH FOR SEBASTIAN ROGERS: AUTHORITIES SEARCHING LANDFILL IN KENTUCKY

An ongoing Amber Alert in Tennessee for Sebastian Rogers of Sumner County now has investigators searching a landfill in Kentucky.

According to the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, the landfill in Kentucky is where trash went from Sebastian’s neighborhood in the Beech area.

Officials called the search of the landfill a “precautionary measure to eliminate possible options and questions.”

A Kentucky State Police spokesperson said detectives obtained a search warrant for the Hopkins County Regional Landfill located in White Plains.

“There is no specific information that indicates evidence related to the search for Sebastian may be there,” the sheriff’s office reported.

The ground search was scaled back this week as authorities transitioned to the investigative side of the case.

According to the sheriff’s office, investigators are working on eliminating and drumming up leads.

Sebastian stands 5’5” and weighs 120 pounds. He has dirty blond hair. He was last seen on Monday, February 26, 2024, near Stafford Court wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
