Investigators said they have arrested another person in connection to a January homicide in McMinnville. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, indictments were returned charging James Earl Wells, Jr., with one count of first-degree murder, one count of attempt to commit especially aggravated burglary and four counts of aggravated assault. He was charged in connection to the death of Darius Michael Bishop who was shot and killed after two masked men forced their way into his home on Lind Street. Bishop was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Another man, Terrence Lamont Malone, was charged with one count of felony murder and one count of especially aggravated burglary in connection to the case earlier in 2019.
