The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Middle and East Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina until 8:00 PM CDT / 9:00 PM EDT. Isolated hail up to ping pong size, scattered wind gusts up to 70 mph, and frequent lightning are possible.

This Watch includes Cumberland, White, Van Buren, Putnam, Rhea, Meigs, Monroe, Bledsoe, and McMinn Counties in the 3B Media listening area.
