Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has appointed Shawn Fry as a judge serving the 13th Judicial District Criminal Court.

The legislature granted the district an additional judgeship in May 2023 to assist with workload. The 13th district covers Clay, Cumberland, Dekalb, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, and White counties.

A Tennessee Tech graduate, Fry received his law degree from the Nashville School of Law.
