Shawn Michael Fant, of Crossville, born September 11, 1975, passed away peacefully & unexpectedly in his sleep. Shawn was born and grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was raised by his loving mother, Joyce Fant. He attended St. Jude’s Catholic Elementary School and graduated from East Lake High School. Shawn enjoyed Karate and dance, was in the National Guard, and loved animals.

He leaves behind his son: Dasa’n Parker Fant; sister: Karen Baptist; and nephew: Brennan Battaglia of Tampa.

No services will be held at this time. Instead of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society at www.humanerescue.org or a check can be mailed to your local Humane Society and reference his name.
