Sheila Ann McCoy, age 60 of Dayton, passed away at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She was born in Dayton on June 12, 1964, the daughter of the late R.C. Minton and Mary (Johnson) Minton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray McCoy on November 19, 2024.

Sheila lived in Dayton her whole life and was a former employee of Shipley Basket Company. She loved cooking and attended Cove Chapel Church of God.

Sheila is survived by her son, Billy (Levi Robinson) McCoy II of Chattanooga; her daughter, Carman (Shannon) Bishop of Dayton; her granddaughter, Carlee Bishop of Dayton; her two brothers, Scott Minton and Jerry (Tammy) Minton, both of Dayton; and her sister, Patricia Minton of Chattanooga.

Funeral services for Sheila will be in the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor L.J. Davis officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Cove Cemetery.
