Wayne County, Kentucky Sheriff Tim Catron says deputies responded late yesterday for an 8-year-old child declared missing from Hancock Subdivision off Kentucky Highway 3106.

An immediate search was started in the area by all units which was already being conducted by family members and neighbors. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office and the PHI medical helicopter service was contacted to do an aerial search. While they were in the process of responding, the child was found unhurt.

No further information was released.
