SHOWERS AND STORMS

It was a very stormy Saturday night across East Tennessee especially in the Knoxville area with flooding and reports of trees blown down in Knox County. Showers and thunderstorms are likely from the Sunday through the entire week ahead and all the way through next weekend, many of the storms will produce very heavy rain along with strong wind and frequent lightning strikes. Needless to say it’s a very active forecast and I will be keeping you updated so stay tuned and I will let you know what is heading your way in the coming days. Tropical storm Fred is expected to make landfall around the Florida Panhandle and move toward Tennessee bringing even more rainfall in the week ahead. As you can see I guess you can say I just don’t have any good weather news to give you I’m afraid!
