We have enjoyed a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and temperatures hit 90 in Cookeville, Oak Ridge and Dayton. We will only drop to the 60s tonight under clear skies. Wednesday a chance of showers and thunderstorms will be on the increase do at least 50% and they are likely into Thursday as gulf moisture moves into Tennessee. Tropical storm Elsa is hovering close to Hurricane strength and is located about 150 miles Southwest of Tampa Florida, it will move across the Western and Northern parts of Florida tonight and Southern Georgia tomorrow.
