Dunlap Volunteer firefighters were dispatched on Monday morning around 9:54 PM CST to a motor vehicle accident on Fredonia Road near the intersection with Coca-Cola Road. The driver was the only occupant of this single-car accident. The automobile was on its top with the victim still inside the vehicle. Firefighters entered the vehicle and assisted with getting the patient ready for removal from the vehicle by Puckett EMS. Dunlap Fire Department Rescue 1 responded along with 9 firefighters. The victim did not appear to have any life-threatening injuries and was transported by Puckett EMS.

The accident is being investigated by the Tennessee Highway Patrol and was assisted by Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Department.
