KNOX COUNTY FIRE TAKES THE LIFE OF ONE VICTIM

Knox County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Units and Fire Investigators responded with Rural Metro Fire Department and AMR ambulance service to a house fire Wednesday night around 10:30 that included injuries. The fire was located at the 4100 block of E. Governor John Sevier Highway in East Knox County.
The Knox County Sherriff’s Office announced this morning that one of the victims of the fire has passed away. The second has been taken to Vanderbilt. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
This is currently under investigation.
