SK FOOD GROUP OPENS NEW FACILITY
Tennessee officials, joined by Gov. Bill Lee, celebrated the grand opening of SK Food Group’s new 525,000-square-foot facility in Bradley County’s Spring Branch Industrial Park in Cleveland on Monday, October 13.
This state-of-the-art plant, the first phase of a three-phase project incorporating advanced automation for sandwich assembly and food handling, is expected to create more than 800 jobs in the area, with the company projecting 840 new positions by 2030.
Announced initially in January 2023 and marked by a groundbreaking in September 2023, the development includes a partnership with the PIE Center and was highlighted by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development as a boost to local economic growth.
