SMHS PANTHERS CHEERLEADERS TO COMPETE FOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Stone Memorial High School cheerleaders will compete for the National High School Cheerleading Championship next month. The event will be held February 7-9, 2020 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.
The National High School Cheerleading Championship is the most prestigious cheerleading championship in the country. It is nationally televised on ESPN and ESPN2 to over 100 million homes and 32 countries nationwide each year.
The cheer boosters and public donations will pay all expenses for the trip. Anyone wishing to make a donation to the SMHS cheerleaders for their trip can contact Stone Memorial High School at (931) 484-5767.
Stone Memorial will be competing in medium varsity Non-Tumbling Game Day,
Stone Memorial High School will have a very familiar cheerleading team there at the national championships.
Cumberland County High School will participate in large varsity Non-Tumbling Game Day.
Stone Memorial High School and Cumberland County High School cheerleaders will be cheering each other on in their respective divisions at the national championship competition.
