SMOKING IN NASHVILLE BARS WILL BE BANNED

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- On Tuesday, October 18, a law to prohibit smoking and vaping products in Nashville bars and venues passed on third reading at the Metro Council meeting. Tennessee law previously allowed smoking in 21 and up bars at the owner’s discretion. The ban will go into effect in March 2023, and violators will face a $50 fine. It was amended during last week’s meeting to exempt hemp vapor bars.
