A winter weather advisory is in effect for the plateau until 6 p.m. this evening. The weather service has issued this advisory for the possibility of 1 to 2 inches of snow . Temperatures will be in the 30s during the day Thursday but drop down to the upper teens Thursday night so any precipitation on roads will freeze Thursday night.
