STATE TO LIFT RESTRICTIONS ON ATTENDANCE OF HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS EVENTS

The State of Tennessee will lift restrictions on school sporting event attendance including high school basketball, dance teams and cheerleading starting this Monday, February 1, 2021.

“The data now reflects rapidly falling COVID-19 numbers, and because of that we’re lifting the restrictions,” said Governor Bill Lee.

However Governor Lee cautioned citizens.

“This pandemic is not over. We have to continue to be smart and keep embracing those little habits that make a difference.”
