Crossville Police were called to property on Thompson Lane for a car that did not belong to the property owner.

The owner stated that he believed the vehicle to be owned by the neighbors across the street from

this address and that they had pushed the vehicle on to his property where it had set for five days.

Police ran the VIN on the 2000 Chevrolet Malibu and discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen.

The tag on the car came back to a Jeep instead of the stolen vehicle.

Dispatchers attempted to contact the owner but were unsuccessful.

Police had the vehicle towed until the county is able to make contact with the owner
