STOLEN VEHICLE FROM ROANE COUNTY RESULTS IN PURSUIT AND ARREST OF CHASTAIN IN LOUDON COUNTY

A pursuit of a driver in a stolen vehicle from Roane County ended with an arrest in Loudon County. The report indicates 29-year-old Cody Michael Chastain ran stop signs before the vehicle went airborne at another stop sign and almost hitting several vehicles. Chastain got out and ran into Rock Springs Park where he was arrested. He is a suspect in a couple of other vehicle thefts. Chastain was taken into custody on charges including five counts of evading arrest, four counts of reckless endangerment, and two counts of reckless driving as well as theft of property.
