Stone Memorial High School Fishing Team reports they have officially started the 2024-2025 season with the state opener on Pickwick Lake.

186 high school boats are stated to have entered the competition with Stone Memorial having two boats enter the competition.

Both teams only landed one keeper per boat on tournament day but are said to have faired well in points generally.

Ty Tanner and Nathan Morgan scored a 4.24-pound small mouth. Brett McClung and Mason Lefebvre scored a 2.5-pound large mouth.
