The Cumberland Homesteads Tower Association awarded the first annual College Scholarship to Stone Memorial High School Senior Karen Deyarmon. Karen is an Honors student with a 4.29 GPA & was recently awarded the title of Summa Cum Laude. Karen will be a first-generation college student at Middle Tennessee University & plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in Criminology. Not only is she involved in extracurricular activities such as Student Council & Beta Club, but she also volunteers at the Homesteads Apple Festival & Bread of Life Rescue Mission. Karen was highly recommended for this scholarship by the Assistant Principal of Stone Memorial, April Moore.
