The chance for us to get some scattered thunderstorms with a few of them being severe will be the story on Thursday. Once again we will have the heat and humidity so any storms that develop could produce strong straight-line wind and small hail. A hurricane looks to be developing in the Gulf and will likely come ashore between New Orleans and Houston this weekend. Right now it looks to have very little effect on our weather.
