Troopers say a school bus accident today on Summer City Road in Bledsoe County resulted in four students sent to the hospital as a precaution for evaluation. The crash report states bus #8 with 42 pupils on board came to a stop and lights were active when a 2005 Ford driven by 52-year-old Charles Handcock of Dayton rear-ended it. Charges are pending against him.
