SUNNY AND WARMER
The northern Cumberland Plateau just had the biggest winter storm that we have seen in the last 10 years with 4 to 7 inches of snow measured from northern Bledsoe through Cumberland all the way into the Jamestown area. It was a perfect setup with a slow-moving system and lots of moisture available and the temperature 32 degrees which is a good snowing temperature which made for big flakes that accumulated rapidly. Sunshine returns for Monday and it will be warmer with highs in the upper 40s. We expect to hit 50 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday but then another big rain system comes in Wednesday night into Thursday. Much colder weather is coming back next weekend
