Cumberland County deputies were dispatched to the Golliher Road area on Thursday night in response to a male subject wearing dark-colored clothing who was knocking on doors and asking residents very unusual questions. When deputies spotted the male matching the description, he was sitting in a driveway and they asked him his name.

The male said his name was Tre Price, however, his Tennessee ID showed he was Charles Jenkins (12/13/1987). When deputies asked about the discrepancy, Charles stated that Tre was his alias. Deputies then asked why he was walking around in the rain, at night, knocking on random doors. According to the police report, Charles stated that he was Vanna White’s 4th cousin and that it was announced on Wheel of Fortune that he should try and locate his family. Charles stated that all of this was mentioned on CNN but it was hard to hear because the TV was turned down.

When deputies asked about any prior drug/alcohol use Charles alleged to of used methamphetamine and marijuana a couple of days ago.

Charles did seem to be under the influence of some form of a narcotic or controlled substance. He was taken into custody for Criminal Impersonation and Public Intoxication.

An NCIC Check was completed and he was also found to have an outstanding FTA on Child Support out of Sevier County.
