TBI MARIJUANA CASES COULD BE OVERTURNED DUE TO UNRELIABLE TESTING

Some of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s (TBI) marijuana-related convictions could be overturned due to testing procedures due to a possibility the results could be unreliable.
TBI spokesperson Susan Niland says TBI’s methods cannot determine THC-A levels in the total THC count. So far, the Department of Agriculture has had to assist until new methods become available.
Four marijuana cases in Sumner County have been impacted.
