TBI REVEALS SUSPECT IN OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY

The suspect in an officer-involved shooting in Rutherford County Friday night has been identified. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says that 76-year-old William lamb died after being shot by an officer. The incident took place at a Chestnut Street location, where it’s reported that lamb fired a gun inside the home, while another resident was barricaded in a room. After an officer entered the house, Lamb is said to have fired at thee officer, who returned fire, striking Lamb. Lamb was taken to the hospital where he died.
