TDOT ESTIMATES STATE ROUTE 101 RESURFACING TO END SEPT. 15
If you were driving on Lantana this morning, you may have noticed traffic backed up for a mile or two and moving at a pace that can only be accurately compared to erosion. That slowed traffic was due to resurfacing work.
The official notice on TDOT’s SmartWay map says:
“State Route 101 both directions in Cumberland County – Between SR-282 (DUNBAR RD.) RT. and SR-1 US-70 E., resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures on weekdays. This work is expected to be completed by 09/15/2024.
Current Activity:
Resurfacing activities are in progress. Shoulder and/or lane closures will be necessary to complete the work. Appropriate signs will be utilized to direct traffic. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone.”
