The Tennessee Department of Transportation reduced a section of State Route 30 just east of Pikeville in Bledsoe County today (March 30, 2021) to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal system.  Because of recent heavy rains, officials say the road has shown signs of settlement. Geotechnical engineers will evaluate it and determine a permanent repair for the site. Until repairs can be made, the road will remain one lane.
