TENNESSEE APPROPRIATES MONEY TO HELP COUNTIES IN AREA
Tennessee will use millions of dollars in grant money to help 38 distressed and at-risk counties across Tennessee bolster workforce development efforts. For distressed counties in the listening area, Morgan will see $131,501 for rural transportation and work-based learning, Bledsoe will receive $118,867 for a worker training Skill Up program and Fentress will get $132,075 for a youth rural graduation initiative. For at-risk counties in the area, $39,451 will go to Rhea County while $29,903 will head to Meigs County for their worker training Skill Up program.
