TENNESSEE DEATH ROW INMATE FOUND DEAD IN CELL

A Tennessee death row inmate died in his cell Friday. Officials say that Charles Wright died of natural causes. He found inside his cell at Riverbend Maximum Security Prison in Nashville. Wright was convicted of murder first degree in Davidson County. He was sentenced to die on April 5, 1985. His execution was scheduled for Oct. 10. An autopsy will be performed, which is standard protocol in such cases.
