TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH COVID-19 REPORT – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2020

The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 16,237 active cases (down 414 cases from yesterday) in Tennessee out of 198,403 total cases (up 971 cases since yesterday)

  • 182,166 recovered (up 1,385 from yesterday)
  • 2,515 died (up 14 from yesterday)
  • 842 had to be hospitalized (down 31 since yesterday)
  • 2,910,999 tested (up 16,124 since yesterday)

ANDERSON – 116 active remaining cases (down 5 case from yesterday) out of 1,248 total cases (up 5 cases from yesterday), 13 fatalities, 25,978 negative tests

BLEDSOE – 20 active remaining cases (same as yesterday) out of 867 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 4 fatalities, 7,707 negative tests

CUMBERLAND – 84 active remaining cases (same as yesterday) out of 1,246 total cases (up 12 cases from yesterday), 19 fatalities, 22,744 negative tests

FENTRESS – 160 remaining active cases (down 2 cases from yesterday) out of 605 total cases (up 12 cases from yesterday), 4 fatalities, 4,064 negative tests

LOUDON – 134 remaining active cases (up 4 cases from yesterday) out of 1,249 total cases (up 10 cases from yesterday), 7 fatalities, 13,395 negative tests

MCMINN – 111 remaining active cases (down 9 cases from yesterday) out of 1,186 total cases (up 7 cases from yesterday), 26 fatalities, 16,998 negative tests

MEIGS – 12 remaining active cases (down 1 case from yesterday) out of 234 total cases (up 2 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 3,120 negative tests

MORGAN – 23 remaining active cases (same as yesterday) out of 330 total cases (up 3 cases from yesterday), 4 fatalities, 8,236 negative tests

OVERTON – 114 remaining active cases (same as yesterday) out of 801 total cases (up 10 cases from yesterday), 7 fatalities, 7,300 negative tests

PUTNAM – 360 remaining active cases (down 18 cases from yesterday) out of 3,443 total cases (up 24 cases from yesterday), 48 fatalities, 30,228 negative tests

RHEA – 95 remaining active cases (down 2 cases from yesterday) out of 878 total case (up 8 cases from yesterday), 15 fatalities, 10,765 negative tests

August 1-31, 2020 – 365 up to 826 cases (fatalities reported on the 13th and 24th)
