TENNESSEE LAWMAKERS PASS BILL MANDATING BATHROOM SIGNS ABOUT TRANSGENDER USE
Tennessee lawmakers passed a bill yesterday requiring businesses or government facilities open to the public to post a sign if they let transgender individuals use multi-person bathrooms, locker rooms, or changing rooms associated with their gender identity. The legislation now heads to the desk of Governor Bill Lee for his signature. He recently put into place a law that bars transgender athletes from playing girls public high school or middle school sports.
