University of Tennessee Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics Danny White announced today the school is parting ways with women’s basketball coach Kellie Harper.

She just finished her fifth season at Tennessee.

Harper won 20 games in four of her five seasons at the helm, she never made it past the Sweet 16.

Harper led the Vols to back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons and had four straight third-place finishes in the SEC.

White says the search for Harper’s replacement will begin immediately and the school will conduct a nationwide search.
