TENNESSEE SENIOR STATE OPEN BEGINS TODAY AT STONEHENGE GOLF CLUB IN FAIRFIELD GLADE

Fairfield Glade hosts the State of Tennessee’s Senior Golf Open beginning today at Stonehenge Golf Club.

The event is open to all professional and amateur players ages 50 and over. The field is set at 126 senior players consisting of some of the top players in Tennessee with a mix of non-Tennessee residents.

Crossville’s Kip Henley is the 2023 defending champion.   Henley was a golf professional in Fairfield Glade in the 80’s and the one-time Head Pro at Heatherhurst from 1987-1998. Henley was a professional caddy on the PGA tour and became the first amateur to win the Tennessee Senior State Open since 2015.

Former Senior State Open Champion Kelvin Burgin,  as well as John Bradshaw, Tim Rich, Gary Sult Jr., Eddie Wyatt, and Greg Wyatt all of Crossville will also be competing.
