TENNESSEE VOLS DEFEAT MISS. STATE, ALABAMA NEXT ON SCHEDULE
The Tennessee Vols picked up at SEC victory yesterday by defeating Mississippi State 20 to 10. After his second interception, Vols quarterback Brian Maurer left the game with a concussion. Jarrett Guarantano finishing the game for Maurer. Tennessee rushed for nearly 200 yards with Ty Chandler led the way with 63 yards. Tim Jordan ran for 59 rushing yards and a touchdown. The Vols are now 2-4 on the season. Their biggest challenge is coming up this Saturday (October 19, 2019) as they go on the road to play second ranked Alabama. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. eastern time.
