TENNESSEE VOLS PLAN TO USE BLACK JERSEYS IN FOOTBALL GAME THEN AUCTION THEM TO RAISE MONEY FOR BLACK LIVES MATTER

The Tennessee Volunteer football team plans to use their black jerseys in a game this upcoming season against Kentucky then auction them off with proceeds going to Black Lives Matter.

The game against the Wildcats is scheduled to take place November 7, 2020.

Tennessee has worn the special jerseys once in a football game back in 2009. The black jerseys debuted that year in a game played against South Carolina on Halloween.
