TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA REPORTEDLY REACHING OUT TO JOIN SEC

The SEC could have two major college teams added soon.
The Houston Chronicle reported yesterday Texas and Oklahoma has reached out possibly join the Southeastern Conference.
If approved by a majority vote of current SEC members, this would be the first expansion since Missouri and Texas A&M joined in 2012.
SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey replied, “no comment on the speculation” when he was asked about the possible expansion.
An announcement could come before this year’s football season gets underway, although any addition wouldn’t take place immediately.
