THE LATE TOBY KEITH AMONG 2024 COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

Toby Keith, who died last month after a battle with stomach cancer, is among three new inductees announced today going into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Keith had several hits like “American Soldier”, “How Do You Like Me Now” and “As Good As I Once Was,” is a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The other inductees include guitarist James Burton, who worked with Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. Burton be inducted in the Recording and/or Touring Musician category, which is awarded every third year in rotation with Songwriter and Non-Performer categories.

Country music artist John Anderson, known for his song “Seminole Wind” was also named as an inductee into the County Music Hall of Fame.
