Three people face a theft charge after reportedly stealing cattle in McMinn County.

Deputies responded last week to an area on County Road 419 where five cattle were stolen.

Pictures of the suspect’s vehicle and cattle trailer were obtained and shared on social media for public assistance.

During the investigation, authorities identified Gary Hill from Monroe County and Thomas ‘Dewayne’ Pressley and Donna Vaughn of Meigs County as suspects.

The stolen cattle were found in Lincoln County and later returned to their owner.

Pressley and Vaughn were recently arrested in the Rural King parking lot in Sweetwater.

Hill surrendered to authorities the following day. 

All three are charged with theft over $5,000.
