THREE BRANDS OF KITCHEN FAUCETS RECALLED FOR LEAD POISONING RISK

Three brands of kitchen faucets sold on Amazon have been recalled due to lead and, in some cases, other contaminants leaching into water, posing health risks, particularly to infants and young children. Lead exposure can cause neurological issues, including behavioral problems, reduced cognitive performance, and lower IQ. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
  1. VFAUOSIT Kitchen Faucets (Model 06BNV)
    • Units: ~29,000
    • Description: Brushed nickel, single-handle, pull-down sprayer, single-hole installation.
    • Hazard: Contains lead and other contaminants.
    • Sold: Amazon.com, Jan 2024–May 2025, ~$40.
    • Remedy: Stop use, contact Whisper08 ([email protected]) for disposal instructions and refund (requires disposal photo and order number). Run water for 15 seconds before use until replaced.

    • Units: ~50,000

    • Sold: Amazon.com, Jan 2024–May 2025, ~$35.

    • Hazard: Contains lead and other contaminants.
    • Sold: Amazon.com, May 2024–May 2025, ~$30.
    • Remedy: Stop use, contact Chenfeng Store ([email protected]) for disposal instructions and refund (requires disposal photo). Run water for 15 seconds before use until replaced.
    • Manufacturer: Ruianshichenfengwujinzhizaoyouxiangongsi (Chenfeng Store), China.

Consumer Action are advised to identify affected faucets via Amazon purchase history, immediately stop using the faucets, contact the respective seller for refund and disposal instructions, and to run water for 15 seconds before consumption until faucets are replaced.
